These forty-two short and joyful stories give children unique insights into children living in places including India, Turkey, China, Ethiopia, and Iraq. Twenty-six of the stories are about individual children from diverse cultures. Sixteen are based on cultural feasts and festivals from around the world.
– Each story introduces wonderful customs and traditions of these places.
– There are guidelines for sharing the story with children, questions, activities, and prayers at the conclusion of each story.
– The stories introduce children, parents, and teachers to Catholic Social Teaching in a simple yet profound way.
– The stories gently create an awareness of our responsibility to one another as a human family and as God s family.
